Beloved: A Celebration of Toni Morrison (Evening One)
On June 17, Luminato 2022 Festival and literary critic Donna Bailey Nurse, welcomed Zalika Reid-Benta (Frying Plantain), Rebecca Fisseha (Daughters of Silence), Francesca Ekwuyasi (Butter Honey Pig Bread) and Cheluchi Onyemelukwe-Onuobia (The Son of the House) for an intimate conversation as they honoured the legacy of Toni Morrison and celebrated the unrivalled impact she has had on Black women writers around the world.
This event was hosted by Nicky Lawrence, directed by Dian Marie Bridge and featured a house band led by Orin Isaacs.
